Receiver in Canal (RIC)

Increasingly popular due to its size and the extensive functions that can accompany it, the receiver in canal hearing aid is a tiny unit discreetly sitting behind the ear, with a thin wire running to the receiver that is inserted into the ear canal. We also have a Bluetooth model that connects to your smartphone and a rechargeable version (no more batteries!).

Behind the ear (BTE)
hearing aids

The most common and simplest hearing aids, these devices sit behind the ear and are connected to an earmould or tip via a tube. Available in a versatile range and a variety of fitting options, they can be used for all – from infants to the elderly, from individuals with mild hearing losses to those with profound losses.

In the Ear (ITE)

Those looking for something that doesn’t sit behind the ear might be more intrigued by the variety of in-the-ear hearing aids offered at our clinic. We offer both, an instant-fit solution (one readily available for you to walk in and get fitted with!) and a custom made option (where the device is manufactured specifically for you). We also offer Bluetooth capability on custom-made models.

Bone conduction
hearing aid

MED-EL’s revolutionary ADHEAR technology has found its way to our clinic’s portfolio. As a non-invasive bone conduction hearing aid for those with chronic conductive hearing losses and single sided deafness, it takes advantage of the transmission of sound through the bones of the skull to improve hearing ability and speech perception for its users. Unlike other devices, all it takes to use this aid is an adhesive sticker placed behind the ear, which the aid is then clipped to. Stick. Click. Hear.
